Get Involved: Volunteer at the Garden

This season the garden is undergoing some major changes and will not be operating at it's full capacity. Our work will be focused on maintaining our perennial fruit and flower crops, as well as a small demonstration vegetable garden.

Come join in!  The Working Centre Market Garden is a 1.5 acre garden that offers an inclusive, hands-on learning environment where we work together to learn and share knowledge about sustainable food production and environmental stewardship.

Volunteer gardeners will want to come prepared with appropriate footwear and clothing, reusable water bottle, hat, as well as a snack or lunch.  We have sunscreen, gloves, and rubber boots to share if you don't have your own.  The garden is open rain or shine, though you may want to call ahead if the weather is questionable.
